HR Manager – Galway
HR Manager required for growing multinational company based in Galway. This is a new role, reporting to the HR Director and providing HR Gneralist support to line managers.
The key focus will be on maintaining positive employee relations, employee and management development, hiring selections, compensations, workplace effectiveness and performance management. Along with line generalist support, the HR manager will provide input to, and have ability and experience in, leading the development and implementation of strategic HR projects and programs designed to create a high performing workplace.
The position is based in Galway, and requires some travel to our Dublin site to maintain a presence with client groups at that location.
This HR Manager must be an expert in his/her profession and must be comfortable acting as a change agent for a dynamic and evolving technology organization.
Requirements:
Ideal candidate will have recent experience working within a multinational technology or finance organisation
•At least 6-8 years of human resource experience with a strong emphasis on coaching, employee relations and project implementation.
•Exposure to quality and thoughtful employee relations, performance management and management development.
•Outstanding project management, communication, interpersonal, multitasking and program development skills.
•Personal qualities that demonstrate leadership, confidence, sound judgment, enthusiasm, commitment and ethics.
•Experience with training and development initiatives and delivery a plus
•Advanced comfort level with software programs such as Powerpoint, Excel etc. Must have aptitude to quickly learn HRIS systems.
•Education: BA/BS in HR or Management or CIPD qualification required.
Salary 50-65k plus bonus and excellent package
