<p>The primary objective of this role is to ensure that all customer cash transactions (deposits and withdrawals) processed via Payment Service Providers (PSP&rsquo;s) are reconciled end-to-end and all related charges, transaction fees, realised and unrealised foreign exchange amounts are recorded accurately, completely and on a regular and timely basis<br />
Reconciliations are carried out at a transactional level, complexity and volume of which can vary by PSP<br />
Objective is to ensure our PSP Debtor balances are accurately reflected on the Balance Sheet in accordance with month end deadlines; all uncleared items identified and reconciled; and we have full control of all of our debtor balances and cash settlements due, and the costs of processing<br />
To report and investigate any difference to external PSP, Treasury, Banking, Accounts Payable, Customer Service, Fraud and IT.</p>
<p><span data-mce-style="text-decoration: underline;" style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Principal Accountabilities</strong></span></p>
<p>&bull; Daily/weekly/monthly download of PSP data from on-line web systems as required<br />
&bull; Matching of PSP data to internal systems at a transactional level using Excel/Access<br />
&bull; Full reconciliation on PSP General Ledger account to PSP Balance <br />
&bull; Investigation, reporting and follow up outstanding/incorrect entries with Treasury, Banking and Accounts Payable<br />
&bull; Reconciliation of PSP Fees versus PSP contract<br />
&bull; Assisting with all financial audits both internal and external</p>
<p><span data-mce-style="text-decoration: underline;" style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Knowledge &amp; Skills</strong></span></p>
<p>&bull; Proven experience of reconciliation of complex large volume transactional reconciliations<br />
&bull; Experience of working in a finance department and understanding of departmental relationships and responsibilities<br />
&bull; Proven track record of performing foreign currency reconciliations for high volume, multi currency accounts<br />
&bull; Proven track record of handling, manipulating and processing large volumes of data and various file types<br />
&bull; Experience of multi currency accounting including realised and unrealised FX calculations<br />
&bull; Investigative, methodical and tenacious mind set with the self motivation to drill down through large volumes of data while clearly focussing on the end objective <br />
&bull; Experience of internet businesses, PSP&rsquo;s and CNP transactions an advantage<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Corporate Finance Analyst / Banking Analyst with strong analytical and transaction experience in Banking required for 3 year FTC.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will monitor and report on the financial performance of individual companies, support the execution of corporate finance transactions and provide advice on company restructuring and debt capital market related issues. In addition there will be a requirement to review and manage work undertake by external financial and legal advisors and to review work undertaken by the companies and their advisors. The role also involves the preparation of briefing material for board level.</p>

<p style="margin-top: 4px; margin-right: 26px; margin-bottom: 6px; margin-left: 1px; padding-top: 1px; padding-bottom: 1px; padding-left: 4px; line-height: 15px; font-size: 10px; color: #000000; background-color: #ffffff; font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">&bull; Preparation of all financial and statistical reporting packages required for submission to the Central Bank of Ireland &amp; Central Statistics Office, with particular emphases on their accuracy, completeness and adherence to reporting deadlines.<br />
&bull; Act as the main correspondent to the Central Bank of Ireland and Central Statistics Office on matters arising during and after the reporting periods on the designated reporting packages submitted under your responsibility.<br />
&bull; Lead testing and implementation of business solutions within FIRE the regulatory reporting tool<br />
&bull; Prepare all financial reporting packages&nbsp;<br />
&bull; Maintain a log on matters arising during the course of the monthly financial reporting process and undertake the implementation of their solutions in a timely manner<br />
&bull; Participate (as directed) in the performance and on-going enhancements to the daily financial accounting control environment including the performance of specific designated reconciliations, preparation of manual accounting batches etc.<br />
&bull; Participate (as directed) in the preparation and reporting of various additional or ad-hoc reporting requirements to the Local Authorities in Ireland and Head Office&nbsp;<br />
&bull; Recommend and seek to implement procedures and processes that improve the overall performance of the division<br />
&bull; Participate and support all relevant Head Office and Local Projects that impact on the financial accounting division. This may entail taking direct ownership for specific projects, if and when assigned.<br />
&bull; Relationship management with both local departments and the local authorities under your jurisdiction<br />
&bull; Ensure appropriate documented files are maintained and filed for later review by Auditors<br />
&bull; Development and maintenance of properly documented procedures for the financial accounting division</p>
<p><span data-mce-style="text-decoration: underline;" style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Qualifications and Experience:</strong></span><br />
&bull; A minimum of 6-12 months experience working in a Finance Department.<br />
&bull; Familiarity with CBI reporting would be an advantage.<br />
&bull; Good organisation and spreadsheet skills.&nbsp;<br />
&bull; Ability to work on own initiative is essential<br />
&bull; Good communication skills in person and by phone.<br />
&bull; Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages is essential (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).<br />
&bull; Accuracy and attention to detail is an important part of this role.</p>
