A fantastic part Qualified Accountant role has arisen in Dublin 3. This unique 9 month contract will afford a productive and exciting work environment for the successful candidate .
An excellent opportunity has become available for a qualified/finalist accountant to take up this role within the Industrial Sector based in the Dublin.
The Role
· Reporting to the General Manager with a functional report through to the Business Unit Controller.
· Supporting the GM, responsible for the overall management of the finance function within a multi-contract portfolio.
· Full responsibility for all accounting and financial control procedures, including the production of full accounts, period review packs, budgets and forecasts.
· As a key member of the management team you will have considerable operational involvement and you will be required to attend and fully participate in customer reviews.
· You will be required to identify and initiate profit improvement initiatives and provide financial guidance in support of the strategic business plan.
· You will also be required to carry out associated ad hoc investigations and projects in a dynamic and fast changing environment.
The Person:
· An experienced accountant, with a high level of commercial expertise and awareness.
· An influential, persuasive individual with analytical skills developed at the highest level and the ability to add considerable value with the customers.
· With excellent interpersonal skills your relationship building and team orientation will be highly developed and you will have a track record of success.
· PC literate you should be experienced in the application of Lotus and Excel as well as Wincanton finance systems.
· You should be able to respond to and manage change by working within a proactive contract management team.
· As an individual you will have drive, be focused on delivery and accustomed to meeting tight deadlines.
